Jan Lewis passionately creates earthy jewelry, paintings of seascapes, and multi-layered mixed media Vintage Collages.  Much of her wire-wrapped metal jewelry has an antique patina and incorporates ephemera from flea markets.  The paintings she creates are heavily textured using images of the ocean.  Her Vintage Collages feature very old collected materials such as linens, photographs, and eclectic treasures that have been tucked away for many years.  Their beauty and past uses are brought to life once more and now have renewed meaning on her canvases.  These photographs are a window into Jan Lewis’ art.
